Submission Guidelines

Each submitted sign message should comply with the following guidelines:
  1. Each message should make a point about Ron Paul's track record, platform, principles, and/or character.

  2. Each message must be 35 characters or fewer (excluding spaces). Feel free to submit longer messages, but they won't be considered for the three prizes. (Note: Lengthy sign messages take longer to make, and they're difficult for passing motorists to read. Therefore, we prefer concise messages.)

  3. Each message must contain the word "Paul." This can either appear as "Dr. Paul," "Ron Paul," or as part of a URL such as RonPaul2008.com or RonPaul.Meetup.com. In addition, the word can either be part of the message itself, or it may appear in a 'header' or 'footer' on the sign. (Click here for an example of a sign with a URL in the footer).

  4. No profanity or malicious content -- keep it positive and in good taste.

The judges will consider the following criteria when awarding the three prizes:
  1. Does the sign message accurately reflect Dr. Paul's track record, platform, principles, and/or character?

  2. Is the message informative?

  3. Is the message an effective outreach tool? (i.e. does it prompt curiosity, sympathy, agreement, and/or thought on the part of the reader?)

  4. Humor is a plus -- we love sign ideas that make people smile or laugh, in addition to meeting the criteria above.

Tiebreaker #1
: The sign message with the fewest number of characters wins.

Tiebreaker #2: Coin flips (with a Ron Paul silver dollar, of course!)
