As we all know, Washington's primaries happen 3 months before Oregon's. Let's take the opportunity to ride the wave of excitement building up to the Tea Party and commit 50+ people to a GRAND canvassing effort in Vancouver on DEC 16th.
Katja has been doing an AMAZING effort so far, but she could really use our numbers.
Let's all commit a couple hours on Sunday DEC 16th and knock on some doors for Ron Paul.
There is a buzz about a nation-wide canvassing effort along with the Tea Party and I would like to see Oregon lead the way.
The canvassing will be followed up by a Ron Paul after-party at a Vancouver eating establishment TBA. This will be our chance to socialize while we watch the fund-raising climb.
Bring the family, bring a friend, or just bring yourself!

*note* I had typed up an earlier post when I was in Phoenix waiting for my connecting flight, but it got deleted on the site. Sorry everyone :(
I arrived at Manchester International Airport around 7:00pm EST. I was greeted by Laura (one of the original movers) and her husband. We went to Concord and picked up a bunch of materials from the campaign head office. Hundreds of slimjims, yard signs, stickers and fliers. We then went to get a bite to eat in Manchester. I was very grateful for this as I hadn't had a real meal all day.
Our house is in Hampton, which is on the coast of New Hampshire. It appears to be a vacation town as there are lots of "for rent" signs everywhere. We are literally just a few minutes walk from the beach. It's not as cold as I thought, but I'm definitely glad I invested in some nice boots :)
There are six adults and two kids staying here. The place is fully furnished, which is nice. I didn't expect that. The whole house is filled with Ron Paul campaign materials and laptops. It really is a presidential warroom. We have whiteboards with schedules on them and voter registration lists for canvassing. On the way to the house, Laura was on a conference call with Vijay and rest of the group to strategize for the coming weeks. There are new people arriving all the time and we are going to get some in the next week.
This is really a grassroots supported campaign. Make no mistake. We are the ones who are going to make it a success.

The Iowa Caucus is January 3rd!! There are still LOTS of people in Iowa who don't know who Ron Paul is and where he stands on the issues. We can help spread the message of freedom and liberty by calling Iowa residents and telling them a little bit about Dr. Paul.
It is very easy to do, sign up, follow the script and go through the questionnaire.
If we all spend a hour or two a day we can reach many people! Remember when calling Iowa they are 2 hours ahead of our time.
Operation Live Free or Die

Fellow Oregonian Frank Polowicz (AKA Scud, FreedomFrank) has quit his job, moved out of his apartment, and is now on his way to join Operation Live Free or Die in New Hampshire! What is Operation Live Free or Die?
Operation Live Free or Die is a grassroots effort to help ensure that the great State of New Hampshire -- the Live Free or Die State -- nominates Dr Ron Paul as the Republican candidate for the President of the United States.
The aim of this effort is to gather over one thousand of Ron Paul's most enthusiastic, dedicated supporters from around the country and have them converge on New Hampshire in the days and weeks leading up to the State's primary. Volunteers will coordinate with meetup groups and the official campaign in New Hampshire to canvass, distribute information, organize rallies and generally give Ron Paul's campaign the largest active support base in the State.
The 2008 election is the most important election of our lives. The major parties offer us two terrible choices: More War (Republicans) or More Government Bureaucracy (Democrats). Dr Ron Paul is the only candidate who offers the citizens of our Republic a true alternative: freedom, peace and prosperity.

Guess what!! We now have 3 ongoing Banner Brigades for the Portland area! Come out and be part of the Revolution. Don't worry if you don't have a sign, they will be provided for you. If you do have signs then please by all means bring them! Do remember winter is upon us, dress for cold and wet weather conditions.

Calling all Oregonians - Washington needs us NOW !! Did you know that Washington's primary is scheduled for February 9th?!? That time is approaching fast, so Katja Delavar (Vancouver Meetup Organizer) and our other neighbors to the north need our help canvassing. We need to reach all the Vancouver voters in time to make a difference. Please come out and show your support - let's help Vancouver so they can help us in the months running up to Oregon’s primary (May 20th).
Katja will have almost everything you need. Also, she will pair you up with someone from the Vancouver area.
