 With Maine's multi-day caucus and the GOP unbinding delegates to support a candidate until the State convention in May, it would seem the delegate results are difficult to know, but caucus attendees reported to the website ronpaulforums.com, that Ron Paul is leading! Since Ron Paul supporters are liberty oriented, they never go back to status quo establishment thinking and always advocate the message. While the other CFR candidate supporters have time to be converted, Maine is looking like sure win. Maine is an important state because it is winner take all.

Overall, I'd say the show was successful for Ron Paul. Over 300 DVD's distributed, 16 Voter registrations, 4 PCP's for Clark County, WA and more than 7,000 people attended the show. We met several registered Democrats who are going to vote for Ron Paul, and also met many active duty Servicemen who support Dr. Paul. The interest from the public was very positive and we distributed well over 400 slim jims, gave out loads of buttons, we ran out of bumper stickers twice, and Renee & Hugo even supplied us with Ron Paul Gold Chocolate coins!

Oregonians we NEED your help!
There have been a few people in the Portland Meetup group that have stepped up and funded most of our supplies, events, and activities. A big thank you to those people, you know who you are! Now is the time for everyone to pitch in whatever they can, be it $5 or $100. We need to expanded our efforts to get Dr. Paul's message to the masses. We need supplies, and we need money for advertising. Advertisements in local newspapers would be great! Let's make this happen people!

On Monday, MLK Day, the Oregonians for Ron Paul staged a sign wave in downtown Portland. We made quite a show with 60+ marchers and flag wavers, mega-banners, bucket drummers and plenty of Ron Paul signs!

 How would you like to start your day by meeting Dr. Paul? That's exactly what happened when I was standing in the lobby of the hotel waiting for my ride. I was blankly staring outside when Brian from Hillsboro commented, "Oh, there's Ron Paul." I turned my gaze and there he was, by himself, travel bag in tow, making a beeline towards me through the lobby doors. I finished my orange and extended my hand, "Good Morning, Dr. Paul." "Hi, how are ya", he responded. We shook hands and he went to the lobby desk.
