The next step: The Campaign for Liberty

ALL DAY SIGN MAKING EVENT! Print E-mail

signmaking.jpeg It's time for another sign-making event! We haven't had one since the conclusion of the Ron Paul Sign Contest , and we need to restock our Banner Brigades with new signs for the new year!

Thanks to the 400+ contest entrants, we now have LOADS of great sign ideas on the Ron Paul Sign Page. So check out the Sign Page and then come spend some time creating signs with your favorite slogans.

These events are a blast, so don't miss out!

LOCATION: Dancing Devil Design - 1822 NE Couch Portland , OR 97214 (206-255-5550)

Use the parking lot on the side. We'll be there from 9AM until at least 7PM, so come when you can. Just bring yourself and perhaps a DONATION to help us cover the cost of materials, as well as the keg of beer that Gustav is providing!

FURTHER DETAILS

For those of you who are new to the group, 'Banner Brigade' is our term for a sign waving. Since July, we've held 2-5 weekly Banner Brigades at various locations in the greater Portland area -- and we made most of the signs we use. Our 'custom signs' inform the general public about Dr. Paul's track record, platform, and character.

Sign-making events are a blast, as we bounce sign ideas around and talk RP -- and you never know what sort of genius sign slogan will pop up next. In fact, the now ubiquitous "Dr. Ron Paul Cured My Apathy!" was coined by our group members at a sign-making event late last summer.

For upcoming Banner Brigades, keep your eye on the Meetup Calendar. And if you'd like to start a Banner Brigade of your own, just tell Scott Sutton (one of the Organizers) and we'll add it to the calendar!

You can RSVP for this event on the Meetup site HERE.

No.1  I am helping with this event
I tried to RSVP. I received a message that I needed to be an organizer for the event to follow the link. Thus, I was unable to RSVP and wanted to bring that to your attention.

Also, if any is in Precinct 5131 and/or wants to help a Precinct Leader please let me know. I find it comforting to have someone along to canvass neighborhoods.
