At this point I find Andrew J. Bacevich one of my preferred columnists on military matters, just as I find Bill Lind precient on military strategy and Paul Craig Roberts excellent on matters of government in a Republic. I also like Robert Fisk on the Middle East, and Catherine Austin Fitts on systemic fraud in government and the "tapeworm economy."
