The next step: The Campaign for Liberty

Why does the media ignore Ron Paul? Print E-mail

Greetings All

Here is something you can print to give to others to help them understand the reasons they don't hear about Ron Paul in the media

WHY DOES THE MEDIA IGNORE RON PAUL

Anyone who has followed this Presidential campaign cycle can’t help but notice the cold shoulder Congressman Ron Paul has gotten from the news media. If he were the recipient of the favorable coverage that other candidates have received – like the media-resurrected John McCain, for example – he would likely be the nominee by now. Although there is a litany of hundreds of minor examples of this censorship, the most obvious and most recent were his complete exclusion from the New Hampshire Primary Debate sponsored by Fox News and then his diminished role in the Florida Debate sponsored by MSNBC, where he was given only one question and 6 minutes in a 90 minute debate. In comparison, Mitt Romney logged in 22 minutes of chatter, a fact which might earn him the mantle as the Republican version of the verbose Bill Clinton.

This censorship might be excusable if it were honest. But the news media pretends to offer fair and accurate coverage. Reporters should be honest with the American people and plainly tell them that their editors do not like Ron Paul and don’t want to talk about him or his ideas. You and I are expected to have points-of-view and to be honest about our biases. Why can’t these guys?

The answer is simple: if they told you why they were against Ron Paul, it would betray the fact that they are against you – meaning the public good of the American people.

As fantastic and unbelievable as that sounds, it’s true.

The major news media conglomerates are owned by wealthy men who play the game of world conquest in business like we play the Parker Brother’s Monopoly Game. Their agenda is the management of the world and they don’t want to be bothered by your problems.

These guys belong to clubs like the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderbergers. The world’s major politicians belong to these kinds of clubs or their advisors do. That’s why they get good press.

Ron Paul doesn’t play in their sandbox. That’s why they hate him.

These rich men’s clubs exist to use government and the media to protect their business interests. In other words, they are so incompetent; their companies would not survive in a free market economy. They rely upon the support of government policies and subsidies to succeed. If these guys had to build a business like the rest of us, they would be bankrupt.

Which explains why they have ruined our country. They are not capable of running a company, nor are they capable of running the government. They’ve had over fifty years to try.

The ruling elite of the last century will probably go down in history as the most incompetent and the most self-serving ruling class of all time. They have succeeded in bankrupting the most productive and peaceful nation on earth. What a damning legacy!

Every one of the Presidential candidates – whether Republican or Democrat – either are members of the Council on Foreign Relations or have gone to their meetings to receive their blessings. Ron Paul hasn’t. In fact, he consciously opposes their agenda because he knows it will destroy the American Middle Class and any hope for poor people to experience the American Dream.

It took a CFR outsider – Ronald Reagan – to win the Cold War. And it will take another CFR outsider – Ron Paul – to rescue the country from bankruptcy.

It is imperative for you as a voter and an American to truly understand that economics is not an abstract science or numbers game. It is about your ability to be free and provide a future for your children. Although Ron Paul sounds a little too intellectual for some people, it is important that we have a President that understands the boring details of the economy. We need someone who can translate the numbers and tell us what they mean.

But in addition to that, we need someone who has been successful in life because he has worked hard. As a physician in private practice for many years, Ron Paul has learned the discipline of the free market . . . and he has learned how government intrusion has messed-up health care. The government has destroyed the capital base of the American people so that they can no longer afford to provide for their own health care. It has finally come to that. The federal government has been in charge of how we have lived. Now, it will be in charge of how we die. The nanny state has come full circle.
