We arrived at a full parking lot at the call center. Activity was immense inside, but we had just missed the news crew by 5 minutes. I was told there was plenty of supporters arrived in time and the piece was well recieved. Throughout the day, we made calls to Nevadans confirming their support for Ron Paul using an internal network of automated names and numbers pushed to web browsers. There was a little confusion early on as we were getting duplicate names, so there was start and stops while the programmers fixed code behind the scenes. I was having trouble focusing on what to say due to sleep deprivation, so I rewrote their calling script to cover all the possibilities, making it easier for me to follow. Jim looked over my shoulder and aided in perfecting it. By the evening, Robert T got wind of the script and requested I email it to Jay, who was running the call center. By 9pm, we'd made 500 calls and Joni's Ron Paul meetup friends Robert and October offered their place to stay overnight. This was a welcome gift as they only lived 10 minutes away. Their 2 large huskies were excited to see me, but I was too exhausted to pay them much heed. Daybreak. Where was I? I opened the curtain and hoped to garner a clue, but all I saw was rows of townhouses caked with snow and ice. Not sure of my host's schedule, I thumbed through a bookcase - ah, "The Federalist Papers"! That's something I've wanted to read for a while.
