The next step: The Campaign for Liberty

First day of canvassing Print E-mail
This morning was my first full-day of canvassing. We left Hampton Beach around 10am and headed to Portsmouth. It was really cold and some of the houses were extremely hard to find. It was snowing quite a bit as well. I was warm enough, but my face was absolutely frozen. I ended up wrapping my scarf around my face for the rest of the day. I had some good conversation with a couple of small business employees too. They couldn't believe I came all the way from Portland to campaign for Ron Paul. I hit about 30 houses or so but most people weren't home.

On the way to Portsmouth, Roxi (another Operation Live Free or Die project member) and I put out about 30 signs all over the town. There were quite a few Ron Paul signs already, but we thought a few more wouldn't hurt :) The political climate here in NH is really surreal sometimes. There are literally dozens of candidate signs from both parties at every major interesection and freeway on-ramp in most sizable towns.

I will start posting some pictures as soon as I can.

 No.1  Great News!
Two items of great news in this post:

1) The eagle has landed in NH, and Frank is on the move.

2) I don't think we're in any danger of losing Frank permanently to the Granite State - the winter conditions sound BRUTAL. [smiley=wink]
