As I was looking at RonPaulForums today, I ran across this post:

I originally got this idea from a woman in my meetup where she stamped money saying "vote for Ron Paul". About 9 months ago I got a self-inking stamp from vista print where I was able to put my personal message on the stamp. On it I put "NOT BACKED BY GOLD". I used that instead of stating it as fiat money to put the question in the holders mind that; If it's not backed by gold then what is it backed by? I have been doing this for quite a while now. Today I ran into two people who noticed my bills and both were able to answer correctly what the underlying message is (fiat currency). One guy said he has seen numberous bills afloat and was happy to meet a person who stamped them. I use this also to introduce (educate) them to the monetary issues of Ron Paul. In addition, for fun I track my bills on Wheres George to see where they end up. Perhaps other revolutionaries can do the same and we can spread the facts about The FED and fiat cuurency.

I stamp my bills "Rising Prices? Thank the Fed!"

I had 10 stamps made and handed them out to the meetup group.


First, it brought back many wonderful memories of how we first began over 1 year ago! My first meetup was the group's second - Karl already had stamps and we worked on stamping money for the first few weeks - sigh ...

ANYWAY - this post on RPF made me think 2 things - hmmmm...

What a great way to pimp an idea! Make a stamp with a clever phrase (one or two or something ...) and then tag it with oregonliberty.com (or whatever our new website will be) ... AND, I'm wondering if we shouldn't add that option to the vistaprint store ... hmmm.... if we could get some bills circulating here and around the country ... that would be great!


That leads me to THIS idea ... I like to post the business cards in grocery stores - what about a 1/2 page flyer - eyecatching graphic on bright paper that talks about "rising prices" etc ... write up a little bit on what's really behind the "rising prices" and then at the bottom, have the business cards -


Okay - I'm going for coffee now ...
