If you are trying to be elected as a PCP (to hopefully move-on to the State Convention and Congressional District Convention, then the RNC) -- You might want to keep these dates in mind:

1) After being elected as a PCP, (especially for write-in candidates!!!!) - be sure you get your county's "acceptance of office" form. You must sign it & the county has to receive it no later than June 16, 2008.
2) State Convention is June 6-7, 2008 (where Oregon state electors are selected)
3) To be a candidate at the Cong. Dist. level (where delegates are chosen to go to the RNC) - file this form by May 31, 2008

4) Congressional District Convention is July 12, 2008
5) RNC is Sept. 1-4, 2008 (in St.Paul-Minn, MN)
